Happy Hound was born from my lifelong love of animals and the lessons my own rescue pets have taught me about patience, trust, and unconditional love.

When I adopted my rescue dog, Jack, in 2013, I saw firsthand how anxiety and a difficult past could make boarding stressful. The following year, I welcomed another rescue dog, Max. Both boys helped me understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and secure at home. Those experiences inspired me to create Happy Hound Dog Walking & Pet Care in 2016, offering loving, dependable care in pets’ own homes while their people are at work or away.

Although my beloved rescue dogs, Jack and Max, have since crossed the Rainbow Bridge, their legacy lives on through Happy Hound. Today, my rescue companions, Jiggy and Ember, continue to remind me every day why this work means so much to me.

My mission is simple: to care for every pet as if they were my own. I want every pet parent to have peace of mind knowing their beloved companion is safe, loved, and comfortable at home.
